Experience the joy of partnership dance!

Gil started ballroom dancing at the University of Toledo and participated in collegiate competitions shortly thereafter. After graduating from UT and enjoying success on the collegiate circuit as an amateur competitor, Gil became a professional instructor, pro-am competitor and studio owner in Sylvania , Ohio.

In September of 2003, Gil joined The Ballroom Company and teamed up with Nicole Nieves to compete professionally in the Professional American Rhythm  Style, dancing the Cha-Cha, Rumba, East Coast Swing, Bolero and Mambo.  They enjoyed a great deal of success in multiple competitions as finalists in the Rising Star and Open Professional American Rhythm Events.

Later, Gil and TBC owner, Jacquelynn, competed in DanceSport events throughout the country as Professional American 9-Dancers. They danced the Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Viennesse Waltz in the American Smooth division in addition to the 5 dances in the American Rhythm style.  Gil and Jacquelynn have placed as finalists in competitions held in  Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Florida.  In early 2009, they became the Michigan Dance Challenge Professional American Rising Star Rhythm Champions!
