The Ballroom Company promotes the growth of partnership dance as both a form of recreational activity and as a competitive sport.  Ballroom dancing offers a variety of benefits physically, socially and mentally.

One of the most common benefits of ballroom dancing is improving relationships or creating new ones.  The Ballroom Company’s relaxed and casual environment creates an enjoyable atmosphere for learning and having fun at the same time.  Our Friday night parties and annual outings give our students the opportunity to socialize on and off the dance floor.

The physical exercise that ballroom dancing provides can improve balance and make body movement more fluid.  Dancing also reduces weight, and increases flexibility and muscle tone.  Athletes of other sports often incorporate dance into their training to sharpen their control, speed, flexibility, balance and stamina.
